i would think it very useful to retain their details in case any other UK members need their services.
it seems that every congregation had a problem with people being affected by the demons.
looking back i have to wonder was it that more people were emotionally or mentally unbalanced?
or they simply off their medications or were they in need of meds?.
when i overheard my bat shit crazy loon mother in law telling my kids about demons i hit the roof. i had been brought up on that nonsense. the stuff of kids nightmares.
even my old dad used to believe in demons--and loved to tell 3rd hand stories he'd heard of other equally daft dubs. a broom stick chasing a brother was the best. i laughed till i cried.

its all about control freakery. dubs just love shunning--it really strokes their self centered attitude. so if they can rub your nose in it--by excluding you from their sweet little holier than thou family get-togethers--it bloats their religious cult mindset.
just let them get on with it..dont do anything that sets them against you even more. your daughter is right in the middle of it. not her chosing..not yet.

my son--42 this year--d/f'd some years back--we have since developed a close relationship...
-----fought tooth and nail to maintain contact with his 2 kids from his first marriage. by all accounts his ex is a serious nutter--ideal dubette. he maintains his kids...courtesy of the child support agency ( widely hated in the UK )
i recently found out he has spent £40 grand !! all told in legal fees court costs etc.
his ex sold their house--and moved a fair distance from him--making access visits a real problem; then a few months ago his kids ( now 15 and 13 ) have told him they dont want to see him any more.
the only positive thing about this is he can see all too clearly the problems i went through..a case of history repeating itself.

i totally sympathise, Emperor.
but--in real terms theres nothing you can do. ive been there myself--30+ years ago. no communication whatsoever. i had joint custody of my 3 kids. waste of time that was.

i was in a suburb of cardiff, capital of wales where it was difficult to get near to my customer's offices to deliver and install what i do.
i had my car parked about a hundred yards away and had to make several trips with goods and tools past a local jw trolley cart.
as i was working i didn't stop but observed much of the time from an upper floor office window.. in the hour or so i was there, on a warm sunny (for late february) lunchtime/early afternoon - right by a bus stop and several local shops, cafes and banks with plenty of people about - not one person stopped at the cart.. the two women at the cart i guess were about 50 and 75 respectively - pleasant looking motherly/grandmotherly types.
I suppose you've earned yourselves an extra day of everlasting life haven't you ...

jw funeral last night.
it was about half an hour from start to finish.
they opened with basic facts about the person.
when my jw dad died--2 years ago..i organised the funeral..after checking his will for any specific funeral requirements. there were none.
so i arranged a very simple non religious commital in the crematorium. just me and a couple of ex jw friends to " comfort" me.
i forgot to tell his jw congregation about his passing. whoops.
kenneth cook was a "helper" in the writing department, which is apparently a role for those of the great crowd.
watchtower 15/10/15 p.3 states that helpers are of the great crowd.

how does it work--becoming one of the annointed ?
what i mean is--supposing someone has the flash of enlightenment--or whatever----on say--the first of june ? does he /she have to wait till the next memorial before they are regarded as a sky pilot ?
i was baptized at 14 and finally had enough at 50 years old.

I'm so glad I left before that was an issue for me. The idea of no sex before marriage is dangerous as it leads to mistakes like that, not that being in the religion would have stopped me doing it
